Year 3 Term 5 2025-2026

Welcome to Term 5. Here are the Knowledge Organisers for Science and Geography. 

This term we will be starting Forest School.  Please ensure that your child has trainers and old clothes (long sleeved top and trousers) to change into for our Forest School sessions. 

Science - Investigating Shadows

Our topic has been Light.  We have been investigating shadows including creating them, how to make them bigger or smaller and creating different shapes.

Cookery

This term we have been making pasta salad.  We have been practising our chopping and cutting skills.  We looked at all the different vegetables we could add and how to use as many colours as possible in our pasta dish.
