Pupil Premium

Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Each Other

The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the Government to help schools improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.

At The Holy Family Catholic Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We use Pupil Premium funding to help remove barriers to learning, support pupils’ academic progress and provide opportunities that enable eligible children to thrive.

The school receives Pupil Premium funding for eligible groups of pupils, which may include:

  • children who are currently eligible for Free School Meals or who have been eligible during the previous six years;

  • looked-after children and children who have previously been looked after, including eligible children who have been adopted from care; and

  • children from Armed Forces families who are eligible for Service Pupil Premium.

We carefully consider how this funding can be used most effectively to meet the needs of our pupils and improve their educational outcomes.

Each year, we publish our Pupil Premium Strategy Statement, which explains how we intend to use the funding, the challenges we are seeking to address and the impact of our approach.

Our strategy is reviewed regularly to ensure that the support we provide continues to make a positive difference to the children who need it.
